Complete Battery & Charging System Service
Because a “battery problem” is sometimes really an alternator or parasitic-drain problem, we test the whole starting and charging system before recommending a new battery — you shouldn’t pay for a part you don’t need.

Why Choose Elevation Auto Repair
Beyond the Battery: Charging & Electrical Health
A new battery only stays healthy if the system around it is working. An alternator that undercharges will quietly kill a new battery in months; one that overcharges can cook it even faster. Parasitic drains — a glovebox light that never goes out, an aging module that never quite sleeps — flatten batteries overnight and are easily mistaken for battery failure. That’s why every battery service at Elevation includes charging system testing and, when symptoms suggest it, parasitic draw testing. It’s also why we’re the right shop when the problem isn’t the battery: our electrical diagnostics trace faults through fuses, grounds, and wiring to the actual cause, whatever it turns out to be.
Modern vehicles complicate battery service in ways worth knowing: many use AGM or EFB batteries that cost more but tolerate start-stop systems and cold far better, and a growing number require the new battery to be electronically registered with the vehicle so the charging system manages it correctly. Installing the wrong type — or skipping registration — shortens the new battery’s life. We install what your vehicle’s engineering actually calls for.
