Common Oil Leaks We Repair
Not sure your driveway spot is even oil? A quick field guide: engine oil is amber to black and slick; coolant is green, pink, or orange and slightly sweet-smelling; transmission fluid is red to brown; brake fluid is clear to honey-colored and dangerous to ignore. Snap a photo of the spot and its position under the car — it genuinely helps us aim the diagnosis before you arrive.

Oil Leak or Oil Consumption?
A dropping dipstick doesn’t always mean a leak. Some engines burn oil internally — past worn piston rings or valve seals — leaving no drips at all, just gradually vanishing oil and sometimes faint blue exhaust smoke. The distinction matters because the fixes are completely different. Our diagnostics settle it: if the engine bay and undercarriage test dry under UV inspection while the level still drops, we measure consumption and inspect for internal causes, then give you an honest read on severity. Plenty of engines live long lives with modest consumption and a watchful eye; you just need to know which situation you’re in.
